Weight loss is a positive change journey, so it’s a great time to truly shine. That’s where our resident Stylist, Helen Robinett will help you out!
You don’t need to wait until you reach your goal weight to look good and feel great. Its time NOW to make the very best of you! Helen is our passionate, Australian-based image & style consultant with a major mission in life: to inspire people that It does not matter what shape or size you are – you are fabulous just as you are. She owns and operates Image Quest (http://www.imagequest.com.au) - a complete personal styling service.
When I ask Helen how she discovered that a career as an image consultant was for her she replies, in her usual effervescent manner, “Completely unintentional actually! I was half way through a financial planning degree and discovered I was so not into that!” She laughs, ”I saw people being overlooked for promotion and It amazed me how very powerful perceptions are. ”
She has been affectionately called ‘The Image Muse’ because of her caring nature and magic expertise in her field. I ask her what the best thing about being an image consultant is.
“It’s such a privilege to be part of someone’s journey. The best thing is watching their confidence and self-esteem increase. This work affects all areas of a person’s life. When you feel good about how you are presenting yourself, you perform at significantly higher levels in all aspects of your life, not just work. Everyone around you gets the benefit."
Her passion is infectious and it is a great honor for us to be able to introduce you all to your new ‘friend’ in the wardrobe. Her enthusiasm can be summed up in this final quote.
“Let’s make the very best of each of you. You are an individual - a perfect human being, just as you are. You are a gift. Let’s celebrate that! I want members to focus on what’s great. Women are too good at highlighting where they are ‘less than’. Enough already!”
Happy Xchanging

For all those not in Australia or who missed last nights' Australian prime time news show 'A Current Affair' here is a link direct to the story they did exclusively on SizeXchange. As well as talking about SizeXchange I also talk a little about my own weightloss experience and frustrations.
How exciting is it when you get a bargain especially in this season, and the first thing you want to do is tell a friend. Christmas shopping is always a time of mahem, tackling the crowds, long ques and that dreaded feeling with each purchase you are getting that much poorer. Yet still we do it! As consumers we are forever on the hunt for that bargain, special sale, or the hidden extra we didn't expect (like an extra game included with the Xbox purchase). Along with the tv, magazine and newspaper advertisements we are continuously bombarded with, we rely on word of mouth as our best source of information.
